Doesn't appear to meet WP:NPLACE / WP:GNG. Could possibly as an WP:ATD be merged/redirected to Belfast, but it could unbalance that article. Boleyn (talk) 19:59, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

- Merge Not sure how one sentence would "unbalance" that huge article, but a little bit of a better look reveals the very obvious WP:ATD: List of parks and gardens in Belfast. Djflem (talk) 20:58, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- Keep seems absolutely notable as an important piece of Belfast shipping history, even if it is just a park now: [1] [2] A lot of what I've found is historical material behind paywalls so the article is difficult to improve easily, but a Google Books search and Google Scholar search should at least put notability beyond doubt. - Comment Doesn't appear a proper Wikipedia:BEFORE was conducted, even if it "doesn't appear" notable, which is a weak nomination. Djflem (talk) 07:35, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- In fairness a simple search only brought up database type sites, but at the same time simple searches have gotten a lot worse over the past couple years I think. SportingFlyer T·C 12:23, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment perhaps I should have been clearer in my wording - by 'it doesn't appear' to be notable, I meant after looking for sources, I couldn't prove that it is. I am reluctant to say for sure whether something is notable or not, just myopinion, as it's amazing what sometimes others bring up. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 15:12, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- So does your clearer wording mean you were unable to determine if it was notable or not, and therefore decided, because of your inability to determine, to create a AFD nomination to let other people do the deeper research to satisfy your curiosity? Not sure that's the purpose of AfD nominations. Djflem (talk) 17:42, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
